Facebook messenger is now broken

Has anyone else having trouble with this? It now stops giving me notifications when I have a message. I now have to check to see if I have a message. Done all the obvious setting checks and nothing has changed. Even uninstalled and re-installed the app and still doesn't tell me if I have a new message... And I cant draw a pic. Another facebook failure to add to the eternal list !!

Mines works and I noticed I couldn't draw on the pics until after I got the new developer preview update that came out today
