Did the critical update issued today solve the problems with samsung ativ se?

Are there still issues with the samsung ativ se after the critical update issued today Nov. 13. Done the update but camera still crashes frequently. Havent been able to test the phones freezing after a call or the screen being unresponsive. Does anybody know if samsung is doing anything or are us ativ se users just stuck with the phone. No updates seem to help on the ativ se. Is it just a problem with samsung or is it something else. I got tired of the ativ se not being reliable and switched to the htc m8 for windows. There have been no issues with the htc so far. Is there an official 8.1 update for the ativ se I could download and start from scratch to see if that helps?
