Can you upgrade the RAM of the HP stream 7?

I am thinking of buying hp stream7 but it only has 1 GB of RAM I really wanted 2 GB but I can afford the Stream8. I can afford to get a 2gb stick. But is the RAM soldered in or can I replace it

I would say no... I imagine that the board layout is pretty tight and the fit in the case pretty close. It will definitely be soldered, not a servicable socket.

The HP Stream 7 is not upgradeable as the RAM is soldered on the board, so you're stuck with what it has.

Really the best way to increase the RAM on a tablet (any tablet) is to buy one with more RAM to begin with.

If its a tablet, its almost guaranteed no. the most you can hope for is easy battery replacement from what I see.
If its a laptop/tablet hybrid like the Dell XPS 12, maybe. (although probably not)
