Should I switch to Developer's Preview from Lumia Cyan?

I am kind of an impatient dude. But what also triggers my impatience is when a new update is released for the DP. So I am considering to go back to DP... for the third time.

But before I do that, I remembered the great community here who gave so many responses to my last post (seriously, thank you!) and seeking advice from experts here, I have a question: Should I switch to Developer's Preview from Lumia Cyan?

Here are my supporting questions:
1. Do I lose any stability by doing so?
2. Is the DP essentially a Nexus equivalent of Windows Phone?
3. Any other risks I should know of?

1. Depends. If your phone is pretty stable to begin with it should be fine. If not then hard reset
2. No DP is not a Nexus equivalent. There is no firmware with DP which is where some of the instability can come from
3. Other than the possibility of having to hard reset which means you may lose data
