Why is my Facebook live tile just white?

I never managed to make it work (neither in WP8 nor in WP8.1). The medium and big live tiles are just plain white boxes. I tried reinstalling several times and removed it from the apps list in the desktop version of Facebook. When I go to push notifications in the Facebook desktop site it tells me I have to configure them from inside my app.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is it installed on the phone or the SD Card? Try switching it to whatever it is not on and see if that works.
