Why can't I find or access Cortana in my Nokia Lumia 635?

i can't find or access cortana in my nokia lumia 635

i am running windows 8.1 os cyan, i have changed region language and keyboard settings as forums have told me but still nothing, i went to the windows site to get a guide it says swipe left on start screen i can't swipe left on my start screen nothing happens.

How can you not swipe left from your start screen?? So you can't see your app list?

you should be running the demin update for Cortana to work in India.

Lumia Denim shipped with 830, 730 dual SIM and 735 only... No other model has it (yet).

You need to do more then change region. Change language to American British. It will now download speech settings. Once that's done the phone will reset. After that go to settings. Swipe left and there you will see cortana
