Why can't my Lumia 925 slide up to open?

why is it that my nokia lumia 925 cannot open when i slide it?

may be some issue with the touch screen.

Try rebooting... Power Down, then Power Up.

​Or Soft Reset... Then last option Hard Reset. Just to rule out software glitch.

It happens to my 920 too occasionally.. Just do a soft rest or a normal restart. It works.
