Thoughts on eBay purchased Microsoft Band

Any thoughts on Microsoft Bands purchased on eBay and warranty? Also exchanging, unopened, for a different size at store. Obviously original receipt is going to be an issue.

My third thought is without a receipt from a store, the supply scarcity won't make exchange likely.
