How do I hard reset my Lumia 520 on Windows 8.1?

how to hard reset lumia 520 on windows 8.1

my lumia 520 was stuck on nokia logo.

i was tried with start button and then down button but it did not work.

i have heard that there is new button combination to do that since windows 8.1 has released.
is any buddy know that button combination to hard reset?

Keep in mind that hard reset will erase all your stuff...

Try holding down the volume down and the power key at the same time for 10 seconds. This will work for soft reset.

For hard reset:
Goto Settings >About > Reset your phone. Voila your phone will be as new as you got it out of the box for the first time.

not sir volume down and power button combination not working
i think there is new combination with win 8.1 os

when i press volume up button(instead of volume down) + power button i got this screen.

Look for Lumia/nokia software recovery tool or something like that, it should help....idk if it's the correct name but its along those lines

nokia recovery tool is also not working it means it throw error "could not check application update".
i have uninstall and again install it but still not working.

If you can't Hard Reset because one or more of your buttons isn't working, try the shim trick...
