Why has my Xbox Music App stopped working?

Xbox Music App Not Working

I recently removed some music from my phone using my computer and removed them by going in to the file explorer and not the official thing from microsoft. I deleted them and then I went on to the app and it booted but non of my music appears but I can see what I recently played before the crash and I cannot access the xbox music store either and I have a xbox music membership too.

I tried doing the same thing as you 2 months ago. It appears that Xbox Music indexes all the music data for faster playback performance, and manually removing the songs via Windows Explorer corrupts it. There's no way of removing them except for a hard reset.

Hard reset definitely fixed the problem for me.
