I can hear if I turn on speaker

Is this a brand new phone? May be a factory defect.

Have you dropped it lately? You could have busted the ear speaker.

Have you ever used ear buds with the phone? If so, try plugging and unplugging ear buds in a couple times. Sometimes the phone thinks there are ear buds plugged in. Plugging and unplugging a set will often times reset the software glitch.
