Why isn't my camera working after updating to the Lumia Cyan on my Lumia 720?

Camera not working after updating Lumia Cyan in my Lumia 720

After updating the latest version of windows cyan 8.1, in lumia 720, the camera stopped working. It shows resuming for a while and get back to the main screen while starting the camera. I tried every possible means, hard/ soft reset. Lumia recovery tools but nothing worth it. I want to go back to the previous version, pls someone suggest the way. I wish if I find one of the developer of the Cyan update for 720 to throw it on his face.

I don't know what to tell you, seems you've done it all.

I would try using the reset camera button in the settings as a last resort, since there's nothing to lose, right?

Pretty sure you can downgrade, but I don't remember the procedure off the top of my head.
