Why isn't my Autocorrect working on my Lumia 530?

Autocorrect not working Lumia 530

I have a new Lumia530 and all the autocorrect options are turned on, but when I type I get NO suggestions or corrections whatsoever. Help?

You could try a reboot...

Is this a new issue? Was it working before and suddenly stopped? If it is a new issue, what changed? A new App may have caused some interference...

Does the lack of autocorrect happen across all Apps or is it just inside one particular App? If so, check that app's settings carefully, or maybe the Dev unhooked that API inside their app for some reason...

I have only had the phone for a day and a half, and it has never worked in any app.
