Hp Stream 7 & Windows 10

Has anyone attempted to put Windows 10 on the Hp Stream 7 yet? I know it has been installed on a Dell Venue Pro 8. Just curious if it runs as well as Win 8.1.

It sounds like Technical Preview isn't yet optimized for tablets, based upon what Daniel says in his review of Technical Preview on the Surface Pro 3. Some thoughts about Windows 10 Technical Preview on the Surface Pro 3 | Windows Central

[h=2]Should you install the Windows Technical Preview?[/h] If you are on a Surface, I would likely skip the Preview for now. The exception being that you do not use the Surface frequently, or do not mind the new compromises. Desktop PC and laptop users will certainly fair better. After all, this Preview is aimed at IT and desktop PC users, so it is not too surprising that the OS is not yet optimized for tablets.

Seems like several folks have now. I found instructions similar to these:

And the preview is working fine on my Stream 7. I tried to roll back to 8.1 however, but was not successful. After booting to the recovery drive, I kept getting dumped back into the technical preview. Anyone else have better results?

I bought the Stream 7 specifically to try out the preview. FWIW, since the current preview isn't optimized for touch, you don't get the full tablet experience. It just feels like a full desktop crammed into a small space. I'm looking forward to more touch features!

works just fine, with adjustments. MS hasn't yet touch optimized Win 10, so if that's important, stick with 8.1
