Why can't I zoom in on my online banking webpage?

After I've logged into my First Direct bank accounts online on my Nokia Lumia 625, I can't expand the webpages to read it properly, ie the text is too small. This has just recently happened and I've checked all my settings so that my phone allows 'zooming on all web content' and that the font size is suitable but to no avail. Can anyone help? I don't have this problem if I use my husband's android phone.

I have to pinch mine to get log in for bank, Walmart etc. You know take to fingers and pull screen closer to you.

If pinch to zoom suddenly stopped working on a website you visit regularly, they probably changed something in how they handle your browser or your browser changed how it handles the site...

If you are on a mobile site, delete the m. in front of the site name in the navigation bar... If not going to mobile on default, try adding the m. before the site name and trying the mobile version.

You could switch to another browser and see if that helps.
