Why can't I make a live folder on my Lumia 520?

I can't use the live folder thing on my Nokia Lumia 520

Maybe because you don't have the last update ! If I'm right, the last update is 8.1.1 (8.1 with GDR1).

Yep, you need 8.1.1 to be able to make live folders... An alternate is to use app folders
