How do I activate Cortana in India?

unable to activate cortana for india!!!

L925 8.1+cyan i am unable to activate cortana on my 925. i have gone through an earlier post but with no help. http://www.windowscentral.com/activate-cortana-alpha-version-india-canada-and-australia

can anyone provide with me with correct steps??? i have done everything as told on the above post but still i cant access cortana.

Did you change your region to US?

Language -> English (India)
Region -> India
Speech -> English (united kingdom)
You need to download united kingdom speech.. Size around 23 mb..
With these settings you will get Cortana in India (alpha)

Cortana voice is more robotic in alpha..

Language = English US
speech = English US
Match phone language for Regional Format
You will need to restart each time you change any one of the options(it demands you anyway )
So after 3 restarts you will be able to see cortana in your app list along with quiet hours and other features in your settings

You have to change your region to US to use Cortana!

You don't have to change your region to US. Just change your language and speech to English UK. It would work. I have done the same and its working

No.. Cortana is available in India as alpha version.. So no need of changing region.. Only changing speech to united kingdom works

Yup.. I have Cortana alpha (India) in my 1020 8.1dp . Speech is set to UK.
