Windows Central Question

Why can't I receive incoming calls.

My mobile was new in August (on contract with TalkTalk) and worked perfectly until recently when I noticed I was not receiving any calls.

When I dial it from another phone the caller gets a message offering to send a text message to my phone as it is "currently unavailable to take calls".

I can use the internet, make phone calls, send and receive texts without any problems.

I have restored the factory settings twice today and I still can't receive calls.

I am not very tech savvy - where am I going wrong - or is my phone faulty after just a few months?

You don't have airplane mode on, do you?

Alternatively it's worth calling TalkTalk and seeing if everything is fine their end - some providers can block your account for a variety of reasons.

Sounds like your Quiet Hours got turned on... Is there a Crescent Moon icon in the upper left corner of your Start Screen?

You can get to it through Settings > quiet hours.

Note that by default it may be coming on whenever you have a calendar entry marked "busy" and your calendar may be triggering it.
