I got my 925 in April and it worked fine. A little after I got the 8.1 developer preview, during low-signal calls the ear speaker would get really quiet and after a few calls just stopped working.
I did a complete reset of the phone and was back on the same OS and everything and the speaker worked again.
It happened again a few months ago and after every reset and OS/firmware version available, the speaker won't work again after I tried a low-signal call.
If I use headphones or speakerphone during calls I'm fine, but I would really like the ear speaker to be functional.
Is this just hardware and there's nothing I can do about it? The Microsoft website says it's still "in warranty" so can I just bring it in to a T-Mobile store?
