why wont my nokia lumia 530 find sd card

put my sd card in my new phone and it just said sd card not found so bought one that s recommended for the phone and still the same ........

I hope that before you place the card you turned the phone off.
Format the card in your pc before use.
Wiggle the card a bit in the phone before boot. ( sometimes the small copper contacts are dirty, even when it's a brand new one ).
