How Do I Turn Off Narrator On Windows Phone 520

It Wont Let Me Do Anything . Everytime I Hold Down The Volume Up Buttun And Press The Windows Button The Narrator Keeps Talking

are you pressing them at the same time? i think you have to hold down the volume up button for a bit and then hit the windows button for it to work. you might deafen yourself when the narrator screams the volume level.

the timing can be a bit tricky.
