How to connect Acer T232 monitor
Acer T232HL Monitor. With monitor turned off and Surface Pro 3 turned off, I turn on the monitor, then the SP3.
The SP3 jingles that it recognizes a device is attached, but I can't get the external monitor to work.
I see the monitor cycle through its possible connections -- HDMI1, HDMI2, VGA, etc. - then it turns to idle. At that point, the SP3 jingles as though a device has been disconnected.
When I go to Settings->Display it looks like the SP3 knows a monitor is attached, but the screen res is insufficient.
I'm stumped --- the monitor should have the right screen res, but the SP3 can't connect.
