Is the Denim update a critical update?

Critical update

My phone lumia 520 is asking for a critical update today. Is this the DENIM update??

Better check it on the internet first. But most probably it is L.Denim

There was a critical OS update involved during the update to 8.1.1, so yes its a 8.1.1 OS update. And since Microsoft is calling the Cyan firmware with 8.1.1 Denim, yes its Denim

Yes. It is the denim. I installed that today.
