How to stop downloading of speech language?

I started downloading speech language and i want to cancel it.I have restarted the but it continues downloading.turned off the internet but still downloading.How to stop it?

Have you tried holding down on the file name and seeing if a popup menu appears. Maybe it has cancel on it? Just guessing, I';ve not had that exact problem... Or maybe the settings button inside the speech language window?

I have exactly the same problem. My Microsoft Lumia 950XL Windows 10 is downloading one speech language and the other is pending already 3 days. I cant do anything to stop it or cancel it. It does not complete the download-I have tryid everything,except "restore factory settings". I am sure that it would be the only way to stop the neverending downloading and pending, but I do not want to reset my phone-I have wasted some much time on setting it my way. Please fix this bug in next update !

There is no such popup menus or canceling options in Windows 10 that you are proposing here. See for yourself, you have a Lumia 950XL for it, I believe.
