Vote for hide caller ID on Lumia/Windows

I have the Lumia 520 and don't have the hide my caller ID option. Even when I dial the number with #31# in front of it it says call error.

You should in phone options

It is a available in WP 8.1 (Cyan). Go to SETTINGS APPLICATION phone

If you do not have it than it is blocked by your provider same as #31#

Nope don't have it that's why I was asking on the forum here to try and get it on my phone. I combed the whole place on my phone for the setting and its not there. Its really annoying!

Which operation system has your phone is it BLACK or CYAN and or do you use preview for developer?

Cyan and its non developer. I had preview for devs and still didn't have it. I downgraded back to cyan in preparation of Lumia Denim.

Then the only thing what I can think of is that your provider blocked this. Because on my 625,820 925 and 930 I have this option

I've had this feature on my 920, 925, 1020 & 1520. And my mom has it on her at&t 520...

As stated above, not having the option means it is disabled by your carrier.

I have an L520, and am in the US using AT&T. I have the option there.

There is a "press and hold" pop up choice for "Show My Caller ID to", with the choices being "Everyone, No one, My contacts".

If that isn't available, then the carrier has blocked it, and you'll need to speak to your carrier about it. Laws about blocking your caller ID may vary from country to country, so that may apply as well.

I could always hide my ID on Vodafone Ireland but I cant on my Lumia 520

In the part that says, "Show my ID to", there is a rectangle that has the word, "everyone". Press and hold "everyone" to get the choices, if you have them. You'll see this type of options all over the place in WP.
