What type of storage device does the Asust100 use in the tablet?

what type of storage device does the asust100 use in the tablet

i was wondering what type of storage device does the t100 use in the tablet and can it be upgraded i have a 32gb tablet and wanted to know if i could change the 32gb storage to a higher storage capacity thx

Your best bet would be to either get a large SD card, or use the USB 3.0 port on the keyboard dock for an external hard drive. The Transformer came from the factory with either 32 or 64GB solid state drive(SSD) and one SD card slot. ASUS has said the SSD was not field upgradable. That's not to say it couldn't be done, but getting that tablet opened without voiding the warranty could be a challenge! There's a web forum dedicated to the ASUS Transformer line that proved to be very helpful to me, and they might be able to offer guidance as well. Asus Transformer Tablet Forum

I've seen some variants. I think, at least.

I recall (I could be wrong) seeing a 500 GB (hard drive) version of the T100, but I could be mistaken.

That 500Gb version has 32-64GB in the tablet, and a 500Gb spinner in the keyboard dock. Obviously that extra 500gb isn't available when the keyboard is detached.
