On my Nokia Lumia 630, how do I save the contacts to the SIM card please?

I am trying to save the contacts list more safely, not just in the phone, but on the SIM card as well. It was so easy on my previous Nokia phone, and with a modern Android, it seems to be completely impossible. Any ideas?

Not possible anymore but if you use a Microsoft account on your phone they also are stored in your outlook account.
