What is the differerant between USA & other Lumia 930 phone?

Does Lumia 930 has any difference between USA version with Other version

The USA version is the Icon and it is a Verizon only phone... Vzw has recently discontinued carrying it.

The other is the International 930.

They vary mainly in the onboard cellular radios, but also in Firmware to a small degree.

If you want an International 930 for use in the US the LTE radio is all wrong for ATT or T-Mo use and you will only get 3.5G (H+) data speed at best.

OMG!! Is it that bad situation in the US? I'm not from USA, but after reading your post, all I am understanding is, people can't upgrade their 920s or 925s if they are not on Verizon?? That's the worst situation for Windows Phone marketshare then, as they might lose many loyal 920 n 925 users.

It's the other way around for Verizon customers the Cyan upgrade is/was heavy delayed.

There isn't really such a thing as a U.S. phone. There are only U.S. carrier phones. It's the least flexible carrier service & smartphone market in the world.
An international 930 will work, but not as fast as advertised.

That's been awkward for many.

The 1520 could take some people, the 830 is an OK alternative. but many aren't feeling the M8 for Windows, which was apparently the fancy phone for this season.

It's not the case with USA only, worldwide where networks use CDMA or GSM the incompatibility exists. Nothing to get surprised. Plus there are options available on networks, but phones are network locked so moving across carriers is a bit limited. Best way is to go carrier free but finding a device compatible with all the LTE and HSPA bands is a mess again. Only phone that has an upper edge here is the iPhone 5+. It supports both CDMA and GSM bands so users have kinda flexibility to move around

Not all but yes most do. But even if they do, GSM band compatibility for LTE/HSPA+ is still dicey in some cases
