Why am I not able to connect to Whatsapp even though it is downloaded on my phone?

micromax w121. ( windows 8.1 ). Connectivity options.

I have a micromax w121. ( windows 8.1 ). As i go to people, click on a contact, choose "connect" option, whatsapp is not shown although it is downloaded on my phone. Even add app option does not show whatsapp. How do I do this?

Hey. Now your question is really clear. I have a Lumia 925 and with me it is the same. So in Windows Phones this is probably not (yet) possible.
I have also wechat and that also does not show up. Sorry
