Can i change the lte bands with firmware flash?

I need to have lte band 4 , but currently my lumia 820 has bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 20, i use fieldteste to look at this ##3282.
It is possible to change the bands if i flash the phone with another rom? Thanks!

The frequencies and bands are controlled by hardware.

I am using a Lumia 920 originally with an Italian ROM. Using field test I recall that I have 4 LTE bands and numerous 3G bands.

Field Test menu was gone for me after upgrading to Lumia Amber. So i flashed to a different ROM. Now using a France ROM. I only get 5 LTE bands (1 3 7 8 & 20) and 1 3G band
