I bought a 920 for the wrong carrier?

Hello! I bought a 920 that I thought was for ATT and it was for a Hong Kong carrier. How do I switch the carrier?

need more info than that to help. When you say Hong Kong do you mean it is network locked to a carrier in Hong Kong or is the phone from HK

In the Lumia update list, there are no Lumia phones locked to certain carrier in HK... all Lumia phones are Country variant, means that those phones will receive any update directly from MS without carrier interference.

I'm not really sure if all Lumia phones from HK are unlocked, but online stores like Expansys sells Lumia units from HK already unlocked and therefore usable for any carrier included AT&T.

Pop in your AT&T SIM card and see what happens. It'll work as long as the phone isn't SIM locked. At worst, you won't get LTE data.
