How do you clear the cache on Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia 520

In trying to solve a problem with the Met Office app, I have been instructed to clear the cache.

''In reference to your query, you need to clear the cache on your Windows 8 phone - please refer to your user manual for this, otherwise there are instructions that can be found via the internet. Also, you may wish to turn off your GPS locator as well, as this can also impact upon your location search too.'

any ideas on how to do this?

Go to storage sense > Phone > Temporary files > Delete.
You shld also clear internet explorer cache which is provided below delete.
