Cannot update to Lumia denim

I am using 520 in India.i am not able to update to denim, everytime i check for update it says your phone is up to date,i m stuck with cyan. Is it because i have changed my country to US(to use Cortana) plz help

That's because you changed your country,revert back to India region,language and check it again,it should start with update.Once when you finish with update,you can set up US region and language to get Cortana.

Done that still stuck with Lumia cyan

Are you restarted phone after you changed settings?On which carrier you are?
Once when you changed settings (language and region) you have to restart phone.Hook up on wifi (you can update phone only on that way) and check for update.
