Why does my Nokia Lumia 520 comes with the 'Camera Roll from Skydrive' album?

WPCentral Question

My photos are always uploaded to the 'Camera Roll from SkyDrive' automatically each time I take a photo although I do not have any SkyDrive account. This makes me worried about my privacy being at stake. Do I actually share my photos with any unauthorised person?

OneDrive is built into Windows Phone OS. If you have a Microsoft Account, you have a OneDrive account. https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/support/

Do you have automatic upload of your pictures enabled?

Did you get the phone used? If so, did you go through a Set Up process?

If you got a used phone and did not have to do the set up, you still have the old owner's Microsoft Account in there. That gets you the Apps they paid for, but yes they can log in online and see your device location, photos, etc.

If you bought a used phone and "inherited" someone else's profile you need to change that immediately.

Settings > about > reset your phone

You will loose all data so plug into a computer and transfer over anything you want saved.
