Why isn't my Hey Cortana working in India even after Denim update?

hey cortana not working in india even after denim update.

It's lying disabled saying my language, speech and region do not match. I have checked a hundred times and everything is set to India as it should be!! Why should I change my region and all to united states and have Cortana not understand my english at all! Something I have already tried earlier before the Denim update.

Hey cortana is available for only specific devices.I suppose you are using Lumia 520 which doesn't support "hey cortana" as of now.

Hey Ravi! Yup, it's a lumia 520. Don't understand why I shud keep the stupid thing on my phone as a simple search engine dat works only after I bark and shout (loudly) my requirements! Have got Cortana for the last four months, n believe me, I wish there was a way to uninstall it. Like the podcast eating up my phone space!

hmm... Can u please confirm if there a USB option under setting menu in your Lumia 520...

As said above, Hey Cortana is available only on the 1520 and 930

No, I don't have any USB settings on my phone. Unless it's it's hidden under Accessory Apps. Which I don't think.

Search for it by typing it in, it is a hidden option.

to use Cortana set language and region to India and change speech to UK English. But the 'Hey Cortana' feature will only be available for snapdragon 8xx phones

Search where for USB settings? There is no option under the "phone" settings in Application settings in 520.

Hit the touch search key and type USB.
