How do I get Hotmail to sync with Windows phone?

Hotmail will not sync with Windows phone.

I downloaded the latest update for the Windows phone and Hotmail became unsynced and will not sync again.

Make sure your date and time are correct... Uncheck any restrictions in Data Sense... Soft Reset (from powered on hold Volume Down & Power buttons until the phone reboots)... Delete the account and then add it back in to get the password entry screen again...

Is there any two step authentication involved? Check up on the account via PC browser and try a pass word reset...
