If we unlock the windows phone, will we get the future updates?

If we unlock the windows phone, we dont get the future updates.

I had thought to unlock phone. But i had some fear anything happens if we unlock. I am fear that i dont get updates and my phone will kept in blacklist by microsoft. So plsss suggest me.

You'll still get updates whenever the carrier that your device is branded to releases the updates.

Unlocking just lets you use a different carrier, but it doesn't affect the fact that the original carrier is where the updates come from.
