What is the fraction I see under the clock in the notification center?

So I recently got windows 8 for my Nokia Lumia 928.
When I swipe down to get my notification center, I see a fraction like 1/5 or 1/6 and etc under my clock . Does anyone know what this is? I've looked everywhere and I can't find an answer. It seems to increase and even if I close everything and reboot the phone, its still there.
