How do I rate apps in the Windows Store?

I'm using Windows 8 for PC. I can download whatever apps I like from the Store well enough, but there doesn't seem to be any way of rating the apps I've downloaded. I've tried going through the page for the app in the store, and tried looking through the apps themselves, but I'm damned if I can figure out how to rate them.

Are you trying to rate Windows 8/8.1 Store apps or Windows Phone Store apps using your PC browser instead of your phone?

When you have opened the app in the store, just scroll down on the very left of the screen and you'll find "rate app" followed by "give feedback".
