WP integration in cars

Have Microsoft given up integration of WP in cars? Bluetooth and Cortana (some markets) works, but there is a lot more to car integration, look at solutions for iOS and Android.

At least I would have expected an integration based on Mirrorlink, but no signals about that from MS.

People who buys premium phones do often have cars and have high expectations regarding functionality, also in cars. After termination of the Ford contract, it seams like MS is empty for ideas regarding car integration. It's a shame really.
