Can you make the camera app open to the rear camera instead of the front facing?

My camera apps all crash when I try to open them if I use the front facing camera. I'd like to set the active camera to be the rear facing on, but I can't without opening a camera app and I can't do that because they crash. Anyone have any ideas to help?

You could try to reset the camera.

Under settings > applications > photos + camera

Right at the bottom there is a reset camera button.

Settings > swipe right > scroll down to photos+camera > open and go to default camera slot > open and select your fav cam app
