Im looking for a chart library that is free and is compatible with Windows 8.1 universal apps?

Do you know any?

Hi,

I had the same issue when coding my own app.
You could search for "chart/s" inside Nuget in Visual studio. I couldn't get most of controls to work properly or at all, but maybe you'll be luckier.

By far, the best option is to use Telerik's Rad controls. Beside the charts you get a number of other great components to use for both phone and desktop. It's not free, though. I was lucky to get a license for some kind of event they were having a while back. They are great.

I remember you could also get them for free when you register for dvlup dot com. Don't know if that's still the case, but you can certainly try anyway.

Look at System.Web.UI.DataVisualization.Charting
It is a charting library built into the .net framework. Search it to find examples.
