Can't install software on Windows 7

Hi,

I'm having problems installing software onto a Windows 7 computer. I logged on using the only account on the computer, but when I type in (what I thought was) the admin username and password to install software, it says "The requested operation requires elevation." I tried running the installation as an administrator, but the same message came up. I also tried going into the User Account Control settings, but the computer wouldn't let me do that either (or on MsConfig). Can anyone help??

Log out (or reboot) the computer, then log in with the proper credentials.
