Connecting Xbox one to a standard tv

Soon I will be buying Xbox one I wanna know can I connect it to a standard tv my nephew broke my LCD and I have a working old tv so wanna save money for the console will x1 work

What is a "standard tv"? You mean like a CRT TV with just Scart or something? The Xbox One is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable, so you'd need a TV with a HDMI slot. I guess one could try to get some adapter that changes the HDMI plug to something your TV has, but it doesnt really sound like you are in for a good time

This depends on what inputs your TV has - ariel/SCART/RGB/Phono....
