Why can't I play music on my Nokia Lumia 630?

[Windows Central Question]

I recently got a Nokia Lumia 630 and don't get me wrong I'm really liking the phone. However, I'm having a problem with the music feature. Music wont play. The folder won't even open. I copied music from Windows Explorer, tried to sync using Windows Media Player and well as using the Windows Phone App. Nothing. I know the music is on the phone and I can even chose a song as a ringtone but when I tap the music feature to play it just sits there;it doesn't even open. Am I doing something wrong here?

What music feature are you referring to? The Xbox Music app? Have you tried and uninstalled/reinstalled it? Probably a good old soft reset could fix it?

I'm having the same problem it's with Xbox music I can't uninstall it I've tried but I can't how do I fix this?

I am not able to open my Nokia music player ..I tap on the Nokia music app and it happens nothing ....I can play songs through mix radio but I want to use Nokia music app..what should I do??
