why is my swipe keyboard not working?

my swipe keyboard is not working. after swiping text is not appearing and manual typing is also not possible after that. press back and then manual typing helps typing after swiping.please help me.

Swipe is not available for all keyboards. See below link for which languages it is available. So you may need to download a different keyboard.

but previously it was working and i am using english language which is available.

Yes but which English , US or UK .
Or English (Indian).
The US and UK work with swipe but the English (Indian) does not.

Furthermore if you use UK or US you also may need to enable it. Go to SETTINGS > keyboard > and tap the keyboard you use > and enable the "type as I flick trough letters"

Sometimes it is turned off from the keyboard itself.
There's a language key on the onscreen keyboard.It shows which language are currently using while typing on the keyboard.If you have the English language installed it will show "ENG" but if you tap it once it will still show "ENG" but this time the swipe keyboard is turned off.To turn it back on you need tap it again until it shows "ENG" and also check if the swipe keyboard is on.
Who knows maybe thats the case with your keyboard.
