Why isn't my Nokia 930 charging or turning on?

Nokia 930 not charging and not turning on

My Nokia 930 refuses to charge at times even when the battery is at 80-90%. The battery will continue to drain until the phone goes dead. I keep it plugged into the charger and the windows icon flashes but the phone won't start. This can last for 1-2 days.

Inspect the port for debris or lint and make sure it is clear. Try a new USB cable and/or charger.

You might also want to do a Soft Reset (you don't loose any data). Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons until the phone vibrates (about 10 seconds) then release the buttons.

It may be a bad port or a bent pin inside the port... In which case you need qualified repair.
