Why am I unable to sync Yahoo mail on my Windows 8 phone?

unable to sync Yahoo mail on Windows 8 phone

It's been working fine until 5.30 last night when it started erroring with the message Yahoo! Mail error. Not updated. We are having trouble downloading messages. Please try again later. Error code 80048830.
I have tried deleting and re-adding the mail account. Turning it off and on again. Deleting all mails since 4pm yesterday from the mail server. Nothing. I also have my husband's Yahoo mail account on my phone. It is working fine. It's just mine. Any ideas?

Windows no longer supports the Yahoo Mail app. If you are trying to access your account through the Windows App, it will no longer work.

Works for me, but....

I did notice that the official Yahoo Mail is not available at the Store. I installed on my phone in August of 2014. It was (obviously) there then.
