Why I am unable to search phone numbers on call a contact or people?

why I am unable to search phone numbers on call a contact or people

Very recently I accepted to update my windows phone LUMIA 625.
after updates, I am unable to contact the list from phone numbers
or from people contacts. When I search a name on call a contact
it is SHOWING " We couldn't find any contacts for that."

it is really annoying and wasting time to search all the names starting from Alphabets

Any one can help me to solve the problem.

Did you do a soft reset.
Did you sync your Microsoft account.
Is the date and time correct.
Can you call them if you use history
In people hub did you checkmark the account you want to see?
