Micro SD card takes ages to format, Lumia 635

I bought a new 32gb Kingston Micro SD card and put it into my Nokia Lumia 635, it accepted the card and i put all my music and stuff on it from my PC and it was fine. After its first retstart since the card had been put in it says the card will not work until formatted, i pressed format on the Storage settings and it just stays on the formatting page for ages and ages and never finishes. i have formatted it on a pc and it did the same thing when put back into the phone despite seeming to be successful. Can someone please help?

You either have a bad SD tray, or a bad OS install. I think the card must be good as your PC uses it normally.
